Copies and samples

Imported media uses additional disk space. Moving the external original does not affect the app’s copy. The two bundled sample videos are optional and are never applied automatically.

Rename, sort and search

Use the pencil or context menu to rename an item (1–120 characters); this does not rename the external original. Sort by name or date added and reverse the direction with the arrow. The card’s heart marks a favorite; the heart beside search filters to favorites.

Delete carefully

Deleting a library item moves the app-managed item to Trash and clears displays using it, without deleting your external original. Media referenced by a saved or open composition cannot be deleted until removed from those compositions and the changes saved. Cancel active processing before deleting its input. Cache cleanup is separate from source-media deletion.
